Certified Reference Materials (CRMs)
NRC's multidisciplinary expertise in algal biology, microscopy, analytical chemistry, mass spectrometry, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and natural products chemistry enables us to offer a comprehensive range of high quality biotoxin certified reference materials (CRMs). Analysts and researchers working in the areas of seafood safety and water quality use these unique biotoxin CRMs to help generate quality analytical measurements.
They are invaluable tools for instrument calibration, confirmation of analyte identities, analytical method development and validation, and quality control. NRC biotoxin CRMs are also ideal for research studies on harmful algal blooms, where detailed analyses are required.
Inorganic, organic and nanomaterial CRMs
NRC has multidisciplinary expertise and is equipped for both inorganic and organic trace analysis which enables us to offer a product line that few organizations can match.
Facilities for inorganic trace analysis include instrumentation for high resolution (ICP-MS, GD-MS, AAS, ICP-AES and XRF) as well as Class 100 and Class 10 clean room facilities and associated sample preparation technologies.
Facilities for organic trace analysis include instrumentation for GC and LC based mass spectrometry (quadrupole TOF, orbitrap, triple quadrupole etc), differential ionmobility spectrometry (FAIMS) and various sample introduction techniques (DART, DESI and DBD).
We are offering a selection of environmental, nutritional supplement and stable isotopic certified reference materials produced in a laboratory compliant to ISO 17025 and ISO guide 34, with approval through the Inter-American Metrology System.
NRC CRMs are invaluable tools for instrument calibration, confirmation of analyte identities, analytical method development and validation, and quality control.
