While new in name, the 2015 editions of Codes Canada build on 75 years of expertise.

Six-storey combustible construction now permitted

The changes were developed in collaboration with industry, provincial authorities, fire services, research organizations, general interest groups and consultants in an effort to address their safety concerns.

New! Quebec Construction Code, Chapter I—Building

This latest provincial Code comprises over 700 changes to the NBC 2010, including new provisions to meet specific needs and priorities for construction and renovation work in Quebec.

New editions of Alberta Building and Fire Codes now available

New information has been added to the ABC 2014 to make it more accommodating to innovation. AFC 2014 comprises many changes including new provisions for six-storey wood buildings based on NBC 2015 and NFC 2015.
