Cathode materials for low temperature solid oxide fuel cells

Cathode Materials for Low Temperature Solid Oxide Fuel Cells are proprietary (patent pending) materials developed by the NRC in Vancouver.

NRC has developed cathode materials with new compositions (patent pending) for SOFCs operating at reduced temperatures. These new cathode materials can be mass-produced by conventional spray synthesis, co-precipitation, sol-gel, and solid-state reaction methods, and provide SOFCs with superior electrochemical properties at temperatures below 700°C.
