CRM-ASP-Mus-d CRM-ASP-Mus-d is a thermally sterilized homogenate of mussel tissue (Mytilus edulis) contaminated with domoic acid (DA) and some of its isomers. Each unit contains two ~4 g of the homogenate. The DA concentration is 49 µg/g. Used in conjunction with CRM-DA-f, this CRM will assure the reliability of your domoic acid analyses.

CRM-DA-f CRM-DA-f is a certified calibration solution for domoic acid (DA), the toxin responsible for Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning (ASP). CRM-AZA-Mus CRM-AZA-Mus is a certified reference material (CRM) prepared from naturally contaminated mussel tissues (Mytilus edulis) containing azaspiracids. CRM-AZA-Mus is designed to assist the analyst in assessing entire analytical methods used to monitor AZA toxins in shellfish tissues. Each bottle contains ~8 g of mussel homogenate with AZAs at levels appropriate for analytical testing. The certified values for CRM-AZA-Mus are: AZA1 - 1.16 μg/g, AZA2 - 0.273 μg/g and AZA3 - 0.211 μg/g.

CRM-DSP-Mus-b CRM-DSP-Mus-b is a homogenized blend of blue mussel (Mytilus edulis) digestive gland tissue and a small amount of the dinoflagellate Prorocentrum lima. CRM-DSP-Mus-b is distributed in polypropylene bottles, each containing ~3.9 g of homogenate. The toxin level for okadaic acid is 10.1 µg/g. The toxin level for DTX1 is 1.3 µg/g. These concentrations are suitable for determination by LC-MS or by LC-FLD after ADAM derivitization.

CRM-SPX1 CRM-SPX1 is a certified calibration solution for the determination of spirolides by chemical analysis methods. Each ampoule contains ~0.5 mL of a solution of 13-desmethyl spirolide C in methanol at a concentration of 10.2 µM. Spirolides are members of the spiroimine group of toxins, which includes gymnodimine, pinnatoxins and pteriatoxins. Spiroimine toxins cause a characteristic rapid death in the mouse bioassay and have been called "fast-acting toxins".

CRM-Zero-Mus CRM-Zero-Mus is a mussel tissue (Mytilus edulis) matrix CRM intended for use as a negative control for the analysis of paralytic shellfish toxins (PST), domoic acid (DA) and its isomers, okadaic acid (OA) and diniphysistoxins (DTX), azaspiracids (AZA), yessotoxins (YTX), pentenotoxins (PTX) and gymnodimine (GYM). CRM-Zero-Mus is not suitable as a negative control for spirolides (SPX) and pinnatoxins (PnTX) because these toxins are present, albeit at very low levels.
