CLAS fees
The NRC/CLAS program and the SCC/PALCAN program operate in close cooperation and in accordance with SCC-NRC Agreement of Collaboration. The fees are determined according to the following schedule, which is based on cost recovery and is subject to change.

Annual payment invoiced on September 1st. The first annual fee is pro-rated from the month CLAS accepts the application to August 31st. Applies to applicants and CLAS certified/SCC accredited laboratories. | $3,000 + applicable taxes |
| A33-00-08-02 Annual fee: for joint testing/calibration laboratories |
Annual payment invoiced on September 1st. The first annual fee is pro-rated from the month CLAS accepts the application to August 31st. Applies only to laboratories that are also accredited by SCC for testing. Applies to applicants and CLAS certified/SCC accredited laboratories. | $1,500 + applicable taxes |
| A33-00-08-03 Annual fee: for joint additional sites in a group |
Annual payment invoiced on September 1st. The first annual fee is pro-rated from the month CLAS accepts the application to August 31st. Applies only to laboratories that are additional sites in a group, the first site pays the standard annual fee. Please refer to the CLAS Requirement Document 10. Applies to applicants and CLAS certified/SCC accredited laboratories. | $1,500 + applicable taxes |

Annual payment invoiced on September 1st. The first annual fees are pro-rated from the month CLAS certification/SCC accreditation is granted to August 31st. Additional measurement capabilty fees will be added for scope extension requests, the fees will be pro-rated from the month CLAS receives the scope extention application. Applies to CLAS certified/SCC accredited laboratories. Measurement capability parameters are defined in the CLAS Requirements Document 1 - Appendix G. | $385 + applicable taxes |

Notes:
- Initial assessments and reassessments generally require the Team Leader to be on-site for two (2) to five (5) days, depending on the scope of the assessment (i.e. nature of the management system, the measurement capabilities to be assessed, etc.).
- Measurement expertise required depends on the scope of the measurement capabilities to be assessed.
- Scope extension requests require a completed application form. Although there is no application fee for a scope extension, additional annual fees for measurememt capabitlies may apply and would be invoiced at the time of the application pro-rated to August 31st.
- Scope extensions may require additional time, experts or even an additional visit.
- Taxes are additional.
