Occupant Use of Window Blinds
Two studies, done a decade apart. In the first, blind use in a large office building was correlated to orientation, time of day, and sky conditions. In the second, algorithms to describe blind use and manual lighting control were used in a computer model to examine the effect this control on thermal comfort and energy consumption.
