CRM-OA-c is a calibration solution CRM designed for use in chemical analysis methods. CRM-OA-c is the replacement stock for CRM-OA-b. Each ampoule contains 0.5 mL of a solution of OA in methanol at a concentration of 17 µM. Okadaic acid (OA) and the dinophysistoxins (DTX) are the principal toxins associated with Diarrhetic Shellfish Poisoning (DSP). Preparative isolation and purification of OA from a largescale culture of the dinoflagellate Prorocentrum concavum facilitated the preparation of this calibration solution of okadaic acid.
