NRC CRM-C1&2-b is a certified instrument calibration solution prepared to aid the analyst in the determination of C1&2. Each ampoule contains ~0.5 mL of a solution of C1&2 dissolved in filtered, aqueous acetic acid (~17 μM, pH 5) at a concentration suitable for calibration of liquid chromatography experiments and for spiking shellfish control samples in recovery experiments. Concentration is 113.4 µmoles/L for C1 and 33.9 µmoles/L for C2. This is a replacement calibration solution for NRC CRM-C1&2, which was released in 2004.
