Dr. Newsham has led research projects in support of private and public sector clients on office space design, lighting quality, lighting control, the energy use of office equipment, building energy efficiency, and thermal comfort. He is interested in building design and operating solutions that save energy, promote occupant satisfaction, and contribute to organizational productivity.
