Media Advisories - Canada's Government to Invest in Public-Private S&T Partnerships in Saguenay - Lac-Saint-Jean's Aluminium Sector

The Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of Labour and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, on behalf of the Honourable Jim Prentice, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for the National Research Council Canada (NRC), will announce an investment in the NRC Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean's aluminium transformation cluster initiative.
In addition, Richard Normandin, Vice-President, NRC Physical Sciences, Dominique Bouchard, Vice President, Primary Metal Rio Tinto Alcan, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean and Gilles Savard, Vice-President and Secretary-Treasurer of Réseau Trans-Al inc will join the Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn in delivering remarks.
