World experts in the cultivation and commercialization of algae and its products will meet in June with a view to forming new partnerships in this exciting emerging industry.
And it’s not too late to register for this unique event.
The 4th Congress of the International Society for Applied Phycology (ISAP) will explore potential commercial applications for algae and its products including carbon capture; biofuel production; human and animal health; cosmeceutical and nutraceutical applications.
The event will be held in Canada’s algae research capital, Halifax, from 19-24 June and is co-organized by the National Research Council of Canada. So far, delegates from 28 countries, representing more than 136 organizations have registered.
Congress Co-chair, Dr. Stephen O’Leary, says the greatest attraction is the outstanding networking opportunity.
“World experts in the science of algae cultivation and processing will be able to explore commercialization opportunities with entrepreneurs, engineers, industry representatives, policy makers, marketers and manufacturers.”
“The Congress is an opportunity to connect and create new international partnerships,” says Dr. O’Leary.
