Announcements - Two NRC-IIT Researchers Honoured as Rising Stars

Scott Buffett and Mira Cuperlovic-Culf who were each presented with a Rising Stars Award at the 2010 Rising Stars awards gala on September 30 in the evening.
Rising Stars is an annual provincial event intended to recognize knowledge industry workers, in companies or organizations throughout New Brunswick, who have distinguished themselves from their peers by the quality of their work and their positive impact in their community and the industry.
In addition to being recognized for their work, Rising Stars are enrolled in a Mentorship program for the year - the objective of which is to expose them to leaders and resources in our communities - helping them on the road to becoming our future leaders in New Brunswick.
