Between June 22-24th, 2010 the city of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK will host the ISPRS Commission V Technical Symposium, an international event to focus on "Close Range Image Measurement Techniques". The 2010 Symposium will have technical sessions to cover all of the Commission V Working Groups and the Inter-commission Working Groups, providing a world class opportunity to share experiences and meet with researchers, academics and industry partners.
NRC Institute for Information Technology Research Officer, Jean-Angelo Beraldin is part of the ISPRS Commission V Technical Symposium Scientific Committee and is Co-Chair of Working Group 1: Vision metrology - best practice, systems and application.
The International Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) is a non-governmental organization devoted to the development of international cooperation for the advancement of knowledge, research, development education and training in photogrammetry, remote sensing and their applications, and to contribute to the well-being of humanity and the sustainability of the environment.
