NRC-IIT’s 2nd Place entry in the 2006 International Science & Engineering Visualization (SciVis) Challenge will be part of a travelling exhibit. The National Science Foundation [U.S.] has announced that from June 16, 2009, through August 16, 2009, The Mona Lisa: A Montage of Scientific Images will be displayed along with 14 other winning SciVis entries at the American University Museum in Washington, D.C. A public reception will be held on June 27, 2009, in honor of all of the exhibitions at the museum at that time. Then, from February 2010 through May 2010, the display will be exhibited at the New York Hall of Science in New York.
