NRC Hydrogen Power on Demand (H2POD)

Summary

H2POD is a proprietary patented device developed by the National Research Council's Institute for Fuel Cell Innovation (NRC-IFCI). It is a unique, switch-controlled hydrogen generator that produces high purity hydrogen to match the quality and flow requirements of a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) Fuel Cell.

H2POD is totally safe as hydrogen is produced only when the on-off switch is turned on and there is no hydrogen stored in the system. The potential markets for the H2POD in conjunction with PEMFC can be categorized as Backup Power and Emergency Applications, Portable Electronic Devices, and Light Duty Mobile Applications.
