Eligibility criteria for organizations
Not-for-profit organizations with the capability and capacity to deliver digital technology adoption services to individual small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and groups of SMEs may be funded to assist in the delivery of the Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program to SMEs.
To be eligible for DTAPP services or funding, your organization must:
- be incorporated and operate in Canada;
- be not-for-profit;
- show that it can catalyze community engagement or awareness to enable SMEs to adopt digital technologies; and/or
- show that it can provide an expert technical/information/business service to SMEs to help them adopt digital technologies.
Organizations participating in digital technologies adoption projects are required to report on the outcome and productivity results of their projects. These reporting requirements are specified in their respective contribution agreements. Organizations whose focus is on providing knowledge or raising awareness are required to direct their SME clients to report on the results of the advisory services provided to them.
