Hubert Manseau has been the President and Founder of Multiple Capital Inc. since March 2005, where he saw to the management and monetization of three venture capital portfolios until 2011. The firm is now offering consulting services in venture capital, financing, governance and strategic planning. From 1997 to March 2005 Mr. Manseau was President and Chief Executive Officer of Innovatech in Montreal, a major Canadian high-tech government backed venture capital firm. He was, prior to 1997, Executive Vice President of the Computer Research Institute of Montreal, and served different senior executive positions in information technology, both in academia (University of Québec) and industry (Videotron, DTI Telecom).

Mr. Manseau is Governor and Former President of Reseau Capital, the Quebec Venture Capital Association. He is the Chairman of the Board of TrioMed Innovations Corp. a high tech firm with activities in Vermont and Quebec. He currently sits on the Advisory Board of two Venture Capital funds, Amorchem and Cycle Capital/C3E. He sat on the Committee put in place by the Quebec Government in 2009 to manage its venture capital seed funds program. He was chairman of two Boards of Directors and has been director of fifteen high tech firms, and a member of the Advisory Board of five Venture Capital funds. Mr. Manseau was a director of the Canadian Network for the Advancement of Research, Industry and Education (CANARIE), and a director and Chairman of the Board of College Edouard-Montpetit, the largest public college in Quebec. Mr. Manseau was a founding member of the first Internet Service Provider in Quebec (RISQ), and was also founder or co-founder of two software startups.

Mr. Manseau is a well-known speaker on venture capital and innovation. Since 2008 he is also a regular lecturer for The Institute for Governance of Private and Public Organizations on board chairmanship of SMEs and strategic planning.

Mr. Manseau graduated at and holds an MA degree from Université de Montréal and was honored by the same institution for his successful career in 1999. He was also honored for his contribution to the IT industry by Fédération de l’informatique du Québec (the Quebec IT Professionals’ Association) in 2003.
