NINT Vision Statement
National Institute for Nanotechnology (NINT) will be Canada's flagship nanotechnology institute, recognized internationally for excellence in the research and development of integrated nanosystems, and will establish Alberta as a leading centre of innovation and commercial enterprise in nanotechnology.
NINT Mission Statement
The mission of the National Institute for Nanotechnology is to create knowledge and support innovation in select areas of nanoscale science and technology that will have long-term relevance and lasting value for Alberta and for Canada. NINT will employ a unique, collaborative, and interdisciplinary approach with exceptional research and support staff equipped with outstanding tools and facilities shared between NRC and the University of Alberta.
