Building Science Insight is an annual series of national seminars presented by the National Research Council Canada Institute for Research in Construction to provide construction professionals with practical information. Each seminar focuses on a single topic and reports the results of NRC-IRC research, as well as information from other organizations in North America and abroad.

You have told us that information presented at past Building Science Insight Seminars has enduring and long-term value. Even though BSI travels every year to about fifteen major Canadian centres, not everyone who wants to attend is able to.

Accordingly, versions of our three most recent BSI seminars, BSI 2006/07 on Sustainable Infrastructure, BSI 2007/08 on Fire Safety Research for Better Building Design and BSI 2008/09 on Single and Multi-Family Houses are now available on the Web. They consist of complete audio and visual records of each presentation, allowing anyone anywhere, at any time, to stay current with developments in construction research in these areas.
