Licensing technologies from the NRC Institute for Information Technology (NRC-IIT) can be a profitable way for companies to solve specific research problems or to get new products to market quickly.
NRC-IIT produces many types of licences for non-commercial and commercial applications. Our non-commercial technologies are available on standard terms and are available to download for non-commercial purposes without cost.
These technologies are also available for commercial application through a commercial licence designed to meet the needs of software developers, distributors or end-users. Please contact the Business Development Office for information on this type of commercial licensing.
