Blue KenueTM is an advanced data preparation, analysis, and visualization tool for hydraulic modellers. It provides a state-of-the-art interface, integrating geospatial data with model input and results data. Blue KenueTM provides direct import of model results from TELEMAC, ADCIRC and HydroSim.
Visualization in Blue KenueTM is provided by dynamic 1D, Polar, 2D, 3D and Spherical views that can be recorded as digital movies or saved as images for inclusion in reports or presentations. 3D flights through the model domain are easily created by defining a few control points and pushing "Play".
All views and data are fully geo-referenced and coordinate conversion between common projections is supported.
Blue KenueTM provides support for a full featured set of data types commonly used by hydraulic modellers. ASCII and Binary native file formats (for static and temporally-varying data) are available.
It supports import and export for common GIS data formats including: ArcINFO/ArcView, MapInfo, GeoTIFF, DTED/CDED, BIL, SRTM, WMO-GRIB, and Surfer.
Blue KenueTM provides rectangular grid and triangular mesh generation. Input data to the grid generators can include points, lines, or even other regular and triangular grids. The triangular mesh generator allows the user to specify "hard points" and "break-lines" which are preserved during node/element creation. Node density is calculated by interpolating from user supplied density maps which can be rectangular grids, triangular meshes or polygonal data. Hydrodynamic roughness maps are easily created by mapping data from polygons or other grids.
Animation controls allow the user to play or single-step forwards or backwards through a result file. Time series can be extracted from any point in the model domain. A "live cursor" probe, allows the user to interactively scan numeric values or create streamlines in vector fields. Gridded statistics, such temporal mean, min/max, range, standard deviation, residual velocities are just a mouse click away. A gridded data calculator allows the user to derive advanced data from fundamental model output.
