Through its eight research groups, the NRC-BRI's Health Sector seeks to address the needs of the nation in key areas of health and wellness through a close working relationship with many Canadian-based pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Similarly, the sector has demonstrated its leadership in the development of collaborations that capitalize on the strength of other NRC Institutes and exploit and foster synergies within NRC-BRI.
