Admission Standards are established to ensure that the businesses accepted for the IPF are those which will most fully benefit from the advantages afforded through the IPF program. In selecting an applicant for admission into the IPF, the following general criteria will be considered:
- Significant benefit must be derived from the business' interaction with NRC.
- The business should indicate their clear position in the marketplace, evidenced by a marketing and business plan.
- The business should be able to graduate from the incubator in eight years and continue growing.
- The business should have a detailed, written business plan that includes market analysis, financial projections, funding requirements, management background, and related information.
- The business should have the potential for economic expansion, including job creation, sales, etc
