Industry Partnership Facility: Charlottetown

The National Research Council is committed to stimulating the emergence of new innovative firms, the creation of knowledge-based jobs for highly-skilled people, and the growth of investments and exports.

In keeping with the overall NRC philosophy of fostering innovation and economic growth in communities across the nation, the NRC Institute for Nutrisciences and Health operates an Industry Partnership Facility (IPF), which accommodates scientists from companies that demonstrate commercial potential in the nutrisciences field.

Through the IPF, companies in the early stages of their research program may benefit from NRC-INH's critical support, including access to specialized facilities and equipment as well as research collaboration opportunities. Residency in this technology incubator helps prepare early-stage R&D companies for their future commercial success.
