Lambda 900 Spectrophotometer for visible and near-IR, with accessories, Perkin Elmer (IMS)

Lambda 900 Spectrophotometer for visible and near-IR, with accessories, Perkin Elmer

A spectrophotometer is a photometer (a device for measuring light intensity) that can measure intensity as a function of the wavelength of light. They are most commonly used for measurement of a sample’s light transmittance and absorptance, and can also measure its reflectance using a reflectance accessory.

The Lambda 900 is a double beam spectrophotometer that compares the light intensity between two light paths, one path containing a reference sample and the other the test sample. It is equipped with many accessories, including specular and diffuse (integrating sphere) reflectance setup and computer-controlled beam-polarizer. It is purged with nitrogen and can measure at wavelengths from 190 nm to 3200 nm (2500 nm when using an integrating sphere).
