Leadership Direction Success The NRC-IPF Ottawa is a technology based incubation program located on the Montreal Road campus of the National Research Council. The IPF's revolving door policy allows multiple companies at a time to occupy space and collaborate with researchers on the campus of Canada's leading scientific organization.

Our mission is to assist clients in the formation and development of new enterprises and enable them to succeed by providing them access to scientific personnel, a positive environment and facilities for businesses involved in research in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT). We promote and nurture emerging ICT technology companies to become independent and self-sustaining.

The two institutes with the strongest focus on Information and Communications Technologies consist of the NRC Institute for Information Technology (NRC-IIT) and the NRC Institute for Microstructural Sciences (NRC-IMS).
