150 mm Radial Bearing Static Test Facility
The 150 mm (6-inch) diameter radial bearing static test facility:
- Measures bearing static characteristics at speeds up to 16,000 rpm and loads to 5,500 lb.
- Accurate measurement of power loss through special hydrostatic loading arrangement
- Accurate measurement of bearing metal temperatures at 40 different locations
- Up to 20 gpm (US) oil flowrate with inlet temperature to 70°C (± 1°C accuracy)
- Accurate measurement of bearing - shaft displacements
