Teacher Guide for the Interactive Microscope
Short assignments to use with the Interactive Microscope
You may choose to have students answer some or all of these questions as a study tool or as an assignment to be done using the Interactive Microscope. These activities are best suited for Grades 8 and 9.
- Create a chart of structures and organelles for plant cells, animal cells, bacteria and viruses. How many components are common to all four, and what are they?
- Create analogies for various organelles, e.g., a nucleus is like a computer because it organizes information, etc.
