Communication is an important part of research, not to mention an important tool for establishing a successful colony on Mars.

A blog is a type of online journal. While preparing for their journey to the Red planet, habitat teams are encouraged to use this web-based tool to communicate with other Marsville teams participating in their school, city, province or across Canada.

A blog can be used to:

  • share observations and discoveries about Mars
  • update progress about mission preparation
  • showcase team mission patches
  • document the construction of life support systems
  • communicate with other teams and share ideas

Please note that blog creation, use and monitoring are the sole responsibility of the educator. There are a wide variety of free web-based blogging services available on the Internet. Should you wish to share your team blog with other Marsville participants, please contact your local regional coordinator.
