Low Speed Wind Tunnel (NRC-IAR)The world's first test of two complete models of a suspension bridge has been conducted in the 9 m wind tunnel. The models of the existing and proposed Tacoma Narrows Bridges were tested in order to identify potentially significant wind interference effects arising from their proximity. |
