By Road, from OTTAWA

1. Take HIGHWAY 417 WEST and drive for approximately 65 km to ARNPRIOR
2. Before ARNPRIOR, HIGHWAY 417 WEST becomes HIGHWAY 17 (also known as the TRANS CANADA HIGHWAY NORTHERN ROUTE)
3. On HIGHWAY 17, drive 125 km NORTH
4. After passing the exits for PEMBROKE and PETAWAWA, there is a single set of TRAFFIC LIGHTS on HIGHWAY 17 in the Village of CHALK RIVER
5. Turn RIGHT (NORTH) off the HIGHWAY to enter CHALK RIVER Laboratories

By Road, from NORTH BAY

1. From NORTH BAY take HIGHWAY 17 EAST towards OTTAWA. Drive approximately 170 km
2. After passing the exits for Deep River, there is a single set of TRAFFIC LIGHTS on HIGHWAY 17 in the Village of CHALK RIVER
3. Turn LEFT (NORTH) off HIGHWAY 17 to enter CHALK RIVER Laboratories

By Road, from TORONTO

1. From HIGHWAY 401, turn NORTH on HIGHWAY 400 to BARRIE and NORTH BAY
2. After BARRIE, HIGHWAY 400 turns off toward PARRY SOUND.Take HIGHWAY 11 and drive (NORTH) to NORTH BAY
3. From NORTH BAY take HIGHWAY 17 EAST towards OTTAWA
4. Approximately 170 km past NORTH BAY, after passing the exits for Deep River, there is a single set of TRAFFIC LIGHTS on HIGHWAY 17 in the village of CHALK RIVER
5. Turn LEFT (NORTH) off the HIGHWAY to enter CHALK RIVER Laboratories
