Mr. David Wood is the former Head of Finance and Corporate Development as well as Secretary and Treasurer of Celator Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biotechnology company working to develop new cancer therapies. He continues to work with Celator on a consulting basis. Before joining Celator Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Wood held the position of Managing Director with Cubist Pharmaceuticals (UK) Ltd. and Senior Director of International Operations with Cubist Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Vancouver. He has also served as Finance Director with TerraGen Discovery Inc.

Mr. Wood was appointed to NRC Council in February 2008 and sits on its Executive Committee.
