As a corporate branch within NRC, NRC-ASPM provides infrastructure support and administrative and materiel management services to NRC's institutes, branches and programs.

The mission of ASPM is to meet client expectations by providing quality support services, greater added value, and lower costs. The range of ASPM's services is extensive.

  • Conference Services provides, on a cost-recovery basis, professional service in organizing conferences for NRC clients in support of NRC's programs and institutes.
  • Facilities Engineering provides complete project management, planning, design, and construction management services to all of NRC.
  • Facilities Maintenance operates and maintains for NRC in the National Capital Region (NCR): building structures, building equipment, specialized facilities, field stations, roads, grounds, heating plant, water & waste distribution systems. This group also manages the custodial services and waste removal and recycling.
  • Management Support and Information is an internal support unit that provides ASPM with information technology and information management services to meet the business objectives of the branch.
  • Materiel Management performs procurement and assets management for NRC. Services include procurement of goods and services (including construction); invoice payment; distribution, storage and disposal of goods.
  • Realty Services is responsible for NRC real property transactions, property management, security, environment, energy, emergency preparedness, risk management, and occupational safety and health.
  • Records Management Services is responsible for the Management of NRC Records Policy. It also provides support and advice for the establishment and maintenance of the NRC records management program in compliance with government policy and Acts of Parliament.
  • Reprographic and Distribution Services provides, on a cost-recovery basis, in-house printing and publication distribution services.
