Second Revisions and Errata to Codes available soon

Revisions and errata will be issued in early October to Code users who purchased the printed and electronic versions of the following National Model Construction Codes:

• Second Revisions and Errata to the 2010 National Building Code of Canada,
• Second Revisions to the 2010 National Fire Code of Canada,
• Second Revisions to the 2010 National Plumbing Code of Canada 2010, and
• Second Revisions and Errata to the 2011 National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings.

Revisions are approved by the Canadian Commission on Building and Fire Codes and issued between Code editions to promptly address health- or safety-related matters, among others. Errata are corrections that facilitate the use of code documents. Code users should contact their local authority having jurisdiction to find out if these revisions and errata apply in their province or territory.

For clients who purchased printed versions of the codes, revision packages will be prepared as a set of tables along with replacement pages that can be viewed, downloaded and printed online free of charge on the National Codes website. The replacement pages will be identified in the footer by ‘Amended Page’.

Clients who purchased electronic versions of the Codes will automatically receive new printings (including revisions and errata) as they are published, via the list of subscriptions. Simply log in to your Codes-Guides Online Library account and click on the link indicating the latest printing of the publication, under the document title, to access the most recent edition.
